BACKGROUND
Swedish stock broker Banco was looking to continue their marketing of
"safe" investment funds to less risk-inclined investors by packaging
investment funds Garantifonden, Banco Hedge and Penningmarknad Plus together
as one package.
Banco´s agency Trackster hired Houdini to help create the website.
CHALLENGE
The
site needed to be coordinated with a traditional DM campaign, where the
communicative focus was on "taking the unpleasantness out of investing".
This was done by playing with words, crossing out letters to make them
look more appealing.

Of course, just saying that investing is safe is not going to cut
it, so there was also a need for more convincing reasoning, which was
added in the shape of crisp and clear fact sheets.
RESULT
The
best cure for doubt and insecurity is facts, and so the Banco Trygg campaign
site was littered with them. For every concern a prospective investor
might have about a certain investment fund, there´s a fact to back
up the claim that investing in the Trygg package is, in fact, safe. As
safe as stock market investing can be anyhow.
