BACKGROUND

Code Zero showcases Ericsson's vision of the mobile Internet future, where advanced network technologies will enable revolutionary applications that change the way we live and work. With a style reminiscent of recent blockbuster movies like Mission Impossible 2 and Charlie's Angels, Code Zero is something of a departure for communications giant Ericsson.

CHALLENGE

Code Zero was developed as part of Ericsson's ongoing effort to profile their brand as futuristic, youthful, and technology-savvy. The challenge was to create a production that both showcases leading-edge technologies and applications, and is itself at the forefront of interactive development.

GOALS

1. Tell a 'technology story' throughout the game that supports Ericsson's overall sales messages.

2. Build a sense of player ownership over the site through community and customization features.

3. Raise the bar for online gaming experiences with top design, technology and script.
