Andrea Backström BACKGROUND TechData, the no 1 IT product distributor in the Nordic countries, asked Houdini för the fifth time to help them with a sales campaign directed at the sales personnel of their small- to medium sized business customers. |
CHALLENGE Continuing the quiz theme from the previous Flashback campaign, Houdini were asked to provide a means for the campaign sponsors leading manufacturers such as Philips, IBM, Canon, Cisco and HP to input information about their products and brands, which could be used for quiz questions in a trivia game. The game was required to be quick, easy to understand and above all, fun! With a total campaign time of four months, durability was also an important factor. |
RESULT Houdini set up a series of key questions and built an input tool for the participating sponsors , whose answers were then used as a foundation to author more than 250 trivia questions, loosely associated with the manufacturers' products. We then created a Flash-based game featuring trivia question cards that must be answered as quick as possible during 3 minutes of furious gameplay. |
