BACKGROUND

Swedish stock broker Banco needed a campaign site to launch its new product "Garantifonden" ("The Guarantee Fund"). Banco´s agency Trackster hired Houdini to help create the website.

CHALLENGE

The target audience for the product is presumably close to retirement and are not keen on taking risks with their pension money. Therefore, clarity and believability were key factors. It was decided a live person was

required to create trust and to explain the somewhat complicated product.

RESULT

Houdini filmed investment advisor Daniel Härdelin against a bluescreen and dropped the video into a Flash application where the live speech was augmented by a virtual whiteboard, displaying facts , graphs and details. Following the campaign, sales figures widely exceeded Banco´s expectations and they subsequently had to adjust their goals.
