Are mobile phones getting too complicated? The question is not particularly far-fetched. With 3G technology becoming more and more established and most new phones incorporating advanced 3G services, the question is if the product developers are leaving customers behind. European mobile operator 3 (part of international conglomerate Hutchison-Whampoa) realized the problem and asked Houdini to develop a series of educational interactive video-based guides for their new cutting-edge mobile services 3Music and 3MobileTV. |

Well, we tried our damnedest to maximize the fun factor on just 728x90
pixels and came up with this innovative golf game for a cellphone entertainment
company. Lace up your golf shoes, put on those extra smooth leather gloves
and try your skill with that driver. Just click and release at the right
time and watch the ball go sailing through the sky. Oh, and don´t
forget to call out "FORE!"

Tick-tock-tick-tock. The clock is ticking, you feel the sweat on your

as you possibly can in the brand new TechData quiz game! FastQuiz, the

distributor TechData, sets you up against time itself, as you scramble

Do you remember the cheesy eighties? Here´s your chance to gorge
on all the fluffy, airy stuff you´ve been trying hard to forget
since Ronald Reagan, pastel colours, shoulder pads, leggings and Miami
Vice disappeared from our lives. Tune into Flashback, the quiz show that
will reveal just how embarrassingly little of that 80s knowledge you´ve
actually forgotten. Flashback is a lean, mean Flash quiz game and it´s
packs a whopper of an 80s dance tune to go with it!

GrandPrix
We´ve always dreamed of creating a really addictive racing game.
Some of us, no names mentioned (initials:TI) even go so far as to buy
real racing cars and participate in real races but for the rest of us
who don´t have a deathwish, computer games are just the ticket.
So when we were asked by Tech Data to develop another cool sales campaign
with a fun game at the core, we jumped at the opportunity. Soon, we had
zany characters likeTeri Torque, Baron von Burnout, Willie Wrench, Grandma
Gearshift and Larry Leadfoot zooming around simplified versions of actual
racing tracks. We even created our own nifty little track editor so we
could produce new tracks with a minimum of fuss.

DiscGolf
In our ongoing series "Nifty Little Web Games We So Dearly Love",
we´ve arrived at the latest Tech Data installment - DiscGolf. This
game threw the Tech Data small- and medium sized business customers into
the thick of an exciting frisbee golf tournament. A total of six different
courses were to be completed - Dalkullen, Fiskarfänget, Raukrundan,
Skånelängan, Lappkastet and finally Nordpolen. The players
were assigned one of five game characters - Banjo Bill, Greta Garbage,
Nicky Nerd, Surfer Sally and Macho Mike -- ranked according to the total
order value using the Tech Data e-commerce site. Fancy prizes like giant
LCD TV-sets were awarded to the best players.
