BACKGROUND

The Client wants to tell people about their participation on the Internet World Fair 1999. They want to place a banner on the e-zine Dagens Industri to tell

them to hurry out to the fair and visit their booth.

CHALLENGE

To get the targetgroup's attention - even when the fair has already started - with the overall message: "Right now in our booth: E-commerce for real".

RESULT

The world's first banner broadcasted live*. And

received a description on how to get to the fair.

* The Livebanner is both a banner and eventmarketing, at the same time. The concept is built around a webcamera and a giant banner (7x1 meters). The camera takes a picture of the giant banner, every 15 seconds, and sends it on to a webserver where a server-software trims the picture to the size of an original banner. After that the trimmed version is delivered to the final destination - the webserver where the "live" banner is placed.
